This project was part of my Web Design course, where I learned the basic functions of HTML5 and CSS to code and style a website from scratch. For my final project, I chose to build a website that explained the history and meanings of tarot cards.

Web Design

For my Web Design final, I chose to create a research-based website about tarot cards.

My first step was to choose a color palette and design a logo for my site.

The next step in my process was to map out how I wanted to structure the website. I created this site map as a visual representation of how to navigate through the site.

Next, I used Illustrator to create a visual of what I wanted the home page and interior pages of my website to look like.

After getting feedback on my first iteration, I changed my font choices to look more sleek.

03. Building the Site

My next task was to build the website page by page, using HTML5 and CSS code.

Before I began coding, I created my own illustrations of all 76 tarot cards in Illustrator.

Once all of the images were ready, I built the site over the course of 3 weeks.
