Preemie Power of Wisconsin
Print Design
Preemie Power of Wisconsin is a non-profit based near Milwaukee, WI that sends care packages to families whose children are admitted to the NICU due to premature birth.
During my internship with UWM’s Nonprof-IT program, my colleagues and I worked together to completely re-brand the organization’s visual identity & refresh their website.
Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
In Collaboration With: Haneul Seo, Ka Xiong, Damian Baldwin
Completed 2022
Founded in 2016, PPOW has been helping families in Wisconsin who have been impacted by a premature birth.
As the organization was only being run by its founder, my Nonprof-IT group was tasked with helping her revitalize the organization’s branding and help them gain an even wider reach.
These are some examples of PPOW’s original branding used for their print resources.
01. Starting Point
02. Re-Branding
I was tasked with creating a new color scheme that represented our client’s vision for her organization, as well as choosing new fonts.
Some requirements for the new brand identity were:
Blue - to represent a calming feeling for new parents
Purple - the color used by March of Dimes, a prominent organization dedicated to helping preemies
Clean & modern - the old branding was too complex and hard to scale
After meeting with my team and our client, we chose the following fonts and colors to use in the new brand guidelines.
Once our new brand guidelines were finalized, I was tasked with using the fonts & colors I had picked, as well as the new logo designed by Haneul, to re-design all of the organization’s printed marketing materials.
This included a trifold pamphlet, business cards, and a booklet of useful NICU terms.
